The skirt is finished with a merrow edge. Sometimes known as overlocking, a merrowed hem is the process of wrapping thread around fabric, yielding an elegant, narrow and uniform stitch. Cut skirt to desired length. Finish with merrow edge. To hem the jersey lining, use a double needle cover stitch to finish hem. Cut the same amount for the lining as you cut from the self.
Contrasting tribal embroidery with tulle allows this evening gown to steal the spotlight. The scallop trim truly frames the décolletage in an unexpected way.
