Details

Remove the scallop trim that finishes the hemline. Cut skirt to desired length. Reattach scallop trim with single needle topstitch. To hem the jersey lining, use a double needle cover stitch to finish hem. Cut the same amount for the lining as you cut from the self.

This strapless sweetheart sheath is simply divine. The dress shows off intricate details of embroidery against the black bodice and the embroidery follows completely through against an ivory lining. The lining falls mid thigh while the embroidered overlay falls right above the knee for sheer detailing.
