Tadashi Shoji will open a new boutique at the Westfield Valley Fair Mall in San Jose on Black Friday. Spanning over 3,000 square feet, the new space will offer the full assortment of Tadashi Shoji’s evening wear, day dresses, separates, accessories, and kids’ dresses.
Taking inspiration from the nature focused Resort and Spring collections, the new space includes a dramatic life size arboretum; a glasshouse constructed from repurposed vintage windows; and a looking glass wall composed of mirrors and hidden video screens to play runway shows and inspiration from the collections. Through the boutique, customers can enter into the world of Tadashi Shoji and experience his inventiveness and artistry.
“I am very excited to open our new retail concept boutique in San Jose,” says Tadashi Shoji. “The innovative design allows customers to take in my aesthetic that celebrates creativity and inspiration. I am especially eager to present my Bridal collection alongside our beautiful Resort 2017 collection to my customers.”
Launching exclusively at the Valley Fair boutique, the Tadashi Shoji Bridal Collection will be showcased in a whimsical floor to ceiling birdcage with romantic accents. The boutique will also introduce Tadashi Shoji’s Bridal collection to his customers for the very first time.
With more than 700 global points of sale, the brand is continuing its rapid expansion with additional retail rollouts planned for 2017. Along with a growing retail footprint, Tadashi Shoji is headed towards becoming a full lifestyle brand by developing additional product categories to join sunglasses and Bridal. It is a very exciting time for the company and the San Jose boutique is the perfect next step due to the rising tech industry and sophisticated customer base in the Bay Area.
