Cut both velvet and jersey lining to desired length. Finish each with a double-needle coverstitch. Remember to trim the same measurement from both velvet and lining.

A plunging illusion v-neckline is transformed by embroidered tulle inset with a hand-cut mock collar. Burnout velvet is draped over the shoulders creating capelet sleeves. An arresting back panel of embroidered tulle cascades from shoulder down through the train, ensuring you make an entrance and an exit.
