TADASHI SHOJI - HOW TO MEASURE

Step One: PREPARE TO MEASURE

Your first and only tool for choosing the right size for your body will be measuring tape. Before you begin to measure any part of your body, it is essential to be certain that the tape is always parallel to the floor. Also, to get accurate sizes, you want to only wear undergarments and never measure over your clothing.

Step Two: MEASURING BUST

To get the accurate measurements for your bust, it is important to keep your arms at your sides while measuring. Next, place the measuring tape under your arms and run the tape across the fullest part of your bust line (across your apex),  and across your shoulder blades.

Step Three: MEASURING WAIST

Place the measuring tape on your natural waistline at the narrowest part of your waist to begin to measure your waist. You want to keep your finger between the tape and your body to aim for a comfortable fit. The tape should not feel too tight or too loose around your waistline. The right measurement will allow for natural and comfortable movement at the waist without being too tight or too loose.

Step Four: MEASURING HIPS

To begin measuring your hips, start with placing your feet together. You will be measuring at the fullest part of your hips to ensure the most comfort, which is usually found about eight to nine inches below your natural waistline. Place the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips, keep your feet together, and find the perfect size for you.
