      Where are the Tadashi Shoji Boutiques located?

      How do I schedule an appointment?

      To schedule an appointment, click here and select the boutique location where you wish to make an appointment.

      Why should I schedule an appointment?

      Although appointments are not necessary to visit our boutiques, we encourage you to make one so we can ensure the styles you would like to try are available in our boutiques and ready when you arrive.

      What can I expect from an appointment?

      Once you schedule an appointment, you will be contacted by one of our stylists who will guide you through the process and ask which styles you are interested in. Due to limited availability, we cannot guarantee that all requested styles will be available but your stylist will notify you if any style is unavailable before your appointment. At your appointment, you'll receive one-on-one attention for 1 hour. Your stylist will provide sizing advice, reserve requested styles that are available and make recommendations based on the details of your event.

      How far in advance should I book my appointment?

      We recommend that you book your appointment at least 2 months prior to your event date. Our styles have limited availability, so if you have found a style that you love, we recommend booking an appointment at your earliest convenience. While the majority of our styles are available for immediate purchase, planning ahead gives you plenty of time for alterations and taking advantage of our complimentary hemming if necessary.

      What if I need to cancel my appointment?

      Your stylist will send you a reminder email 72 hours before your appointment. You can reply to the email to confirm or cancel, or you may call the store directly. If we don't hear from you by 8 p.m. the day before your appointment, we will open it up to another client. We appreciate the courtesy of confirming or cancelling as soon as possible.

      What are my options if appointments are fully booked and I want to try on dresses?

      We recommend calling our stores to see if an appointment has opened up due to a cancellation. Our stores are always open to walk-ins but we cannot guarantee the styles you would like to try will be in stock or that a fitting room will be immediately available.

      What should I bring with me to my appointment?

      We suggest that you bring your own nude or white undergarments. This may include a strapless bra, underwear, and/or shapewear, and shoes at the desired height. Tadashi Shoji shapewear is available for try on and purchase in black and nude. You may also want to bring an elastic hairband if you plan to wear your hair up.

      What size do you carry?

      We typically have carry sizes between 00 and 18 or XXS and XXL, but it varies by style. During your appointment, your stylist will assist you with your fit and provide sizing advice. Although Petite and Plus Sizes are not available in store, we are more than happy to make accommodations with appointments.

      May we bring a bottle of wine or champagne to celebrate?

      To avoid spills and maintain the integrity of the product, we ask that you not bring in outside beverages. However, we are happy to provide refreshments upon request!
