I was looking for a Mother of the Bride gown that was beautiful, elegant, yet understated. This gown is lovely and has the Art Nouveau pattern on the lace overdress for which I was looking. There is no shine or sparkle to the gown so your accessories must fill that bill.

The fit is true and sleek with a bit of flare for which the A-line style is known. You can wear a bra with the dress and although the shoulders have an illusion netting, you can still see straps through them so a neutral colors bra or strapless is suggested. I am 6’2” tall and this dress falls to my ankles. Because of the lace overdress, it would probably have to be professionally hemmed for a shorter lady.

I am 55 and will feel and look gorgeous standing next to my lovely daughter on her wedding day.

I chose this as my Mother of the Bride gown for my daughter's wedding. The color is very rich and vibrant without being bright and it will match perfectly with the royal blue color palette she chose. The style is flattering, feminine and elegant and the lace overdress has an Art Nouveau pattern style . That was the important part.
I am tall and slim and the gown skims the body without being tight. The sleeves have a bit of flutter to them which keeps the gown from looking l matronly, yet are not too Bohemian as to make them appear childish.
The back is high enough to wear a regular bra although you may see straps through the lace shoulders. A strapless is recommended. I love the illusion neckline because it makes the gown look lovely without being 'showy'.
The length is long so keep that in mind when ordering. I am 6"1' and a bit and the gown looks perfect on me. Hemming is probably not an option due to the intricate lace overdress.
All in all, I could not be more pleased with this purchase!
